Hitch Hill
In Clinton, Georgia during the days of the Civil War stood a large two story white house known as the Hitch House. Consequently, the entire hill where Hitch House was located became known as Hitch Hill. The home survived the Civil War, but was burned during the turmoil of the reconstruction period.
