Douglass

C.R. Douglass was one of Macon’s most prominent black citizens during the nineteenth century. Douglass rose to prominence in real estate but also was successful as the proprietor of the Douglass Hotel, the Douglass Theater, and owner of the Middle Georgia Savings and Loan.
